Last evening a crew of your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers braved the heat and ventured over to neighboring Whitemarsh Township gor a unique training opportunity alongside several of our local mutual aid partners.

Our crew aboard Ladder 43 spent the evening on site of an over 36,000 square foot acquired structure cycling through several scenarios including hoseline advancement utilizing ground ladders, ventilation with saws and hand tools and many more vital truck company operations.

It was a great evening of training and comradery working with so many of our peers. Trainings such as these are so important for our day to day operations as we in our region rely so heavily on the assistance of our surrounding companies to ensure the safety of our communities.

Station 43 would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to our brothers and sisters at Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company for inviting us and organizing this training. We'd also like to thank the personnel from Harmonville, Spring Mill, Wissahickon, Oreland, Fort Washington, Centre Square and East Norriton Fire Companies for the opportunity to train with and learn from you all! We look forward to many more opportunities such as this one to continue honing our skills to provide the most professional and excellent service to our respective communities!
