Engine and Squirt 43 Assist Harmonville Fire Co. On Fully Involved Tractor Trailer on PA Turnpike

At 03:15 hours this morning your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the area of the Mid County Interchange if the PA Turnpike to assist the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 and the Centre Square Fire Company on a reported vehicle fire.

Engine and Chief 44 went on scene with a tractor trailer fully involved and upon establishing command requested station 43 to assist.

Engine and Battalion Chief 43 with a crew of 5 and Squirt 43 with a crew of 2 made the response. Upon arrival crews were placed in service assisting with mitigating hazards, controlling fuel run off and assist 44 and 33's crews with extinguishment. Due to the volume of fire and location command requested assistance from Tanker 83 out of Worcester and Tanker 76 out of Towamencin to the scene.

Station 43 remained on scene for over 3 hours before being released and were available just after 06:00 hours.
