Last evening evening at 20:52 hours your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the intersection of Chain Street and W. Oak Street to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a possible dwelling fire.

NFD units arrived on scene reporting smoke showing from a 3 story twin and a working fire on the 1st floor.

Ladder and Battalion Chief 43 with a crew of 5 made the response and assumed 2nd due truck company responsibilities upon arrival. The crew supplemented company staging until being placed in service conducting salvage and overhaul in the original fire building. First in engine companies from Station 27 placed a hoseline in service and quickly extinguished the fire.
