Last evening the officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) along with their families, friends, mutual aid partners and local government officials gathered together in celebration of Station 43's 118th Anniversary Banquet. It was an amazing evening for our members to unwind and enjoy the night off over great food, great company and great camaraderie. President Simpson and Chief Heleniak were proud to recognize Township Manager Karen Weiss on her 21 years of service to our township and her upcoming well earned retirement at the end of this year. Awards were also presented to our top 10 responders along with service year pins presented to members for every 5 years of service to the company. Awards presented were: President's Award: Tom Daly Fire Chief's Award: Jonathan Drozd Firefighter of the Year: Michael Estep Fire Police Award: Eileen Archie Congratulations to all award recipients and to all of our members for another successful and safe year of service! A special thank you to everyone who was able to join us last evening as well as the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 for covering our incidents while we enjoyed ourselves. Also thank you to Frank Jones Trophies who once again did an outstanding job crafting the award plaques, trophies and apparel presented during the night!
