This morning the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) said a "fond farewell" to our 2009 Pierce Arrow XT engine for the final time. Engine 43 has served us, the residents of Plymouth Township and our neighbors faithfully for over 16 years having responded to 100's of incidents, fires, vehicle fires, accidents and rescues!

Chief Heleniak along with President Simpson were on hand today to complete the sale of Engine 43 to its new owners the Matamoras Fire Department in Pike County Pennsylvania! We'd like to thank Bob Bainbridge of Better Call Bob - Used Emergency Vehicles for all of his assistance with the sale of the truck and wish Matamoras the best of luck with her. We look forward to seeing Engine 43 continue to serve you all for years to come!
