The officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) are pleased to announce that as of this morning we've officially placed the new Squad 43 into service!

Squad 43 is a 2024 Pierce Mfg Enforcer Heavy Duty Rescue Pumper equipped with a Cummins L9 450hp engine, Allison 3000EVS transmission, Hale QTWO 1500 gpm 2 stage pump, 750 gallon water tank with seating for 6 firefighters. Squad 43 is also equipped with a full compliment of HURST Jaws of Life E3 E-draulic rescue tools and Paratech Fire & Rescue Equipment struts. Squad 43 is a dual piece of apparatus that will be able to handle vehicle and other rescue related incidents while also acting as a suppression piece for fire incidents.

A huge thank you to our apparatus committee lead by Assistant Chief Chuck Luthy for their hard work over the last 2+ years on this project. We'd also like to thank our Plymouth Township leaders and administration for their continued support and assistance in our apparatus replacement plans. Lastly, our sincere thanks to our Glick Fire Equipment Company sales representatives Ralph Rehrig and Matt Wiedenhaefer for all of their work and assistance in making this dream a reality!
